STAGE

 COMEDY NIGHT is every Saturday night at the SLO Grange Hall, 2880 Broad St. at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.

CURIOUS SAVAGE, a production by the Adobe Players is July 16, 17 &18 at Nipomo High School, 525 N. Thompson Road. Show times are Fridays, 8 p.m., Saturday 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $8 for students and seniors. Info: 929-2044.

THE GIRL OF THE GOLDEN WEST, a classic melodrama with a brave heroine, a warm-hearted outlaw, and a mean-spirited sheriff, is staged July 8-Sept. 19 at The Great American Melodrama, Hwy 1, Oceano. A vaudeville revue follows the show. Performances are at 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, at 8 p.m. Fridays, at 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Saturdays, and at 6 p.m. Sundays. Info: 489-2499.

CENTRAL COAST SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL features productions of "Much Ado About Nothing" and "Romeo and Juliet" through Aug. 7 outside at the Bellevue-Santa Fe Charter School, 1401 San Luis Bay Dr., Avila Valley.
